Type of Investment (PSW)

Hi, I had invested in an exsiting business and had registered myself as a directer and after that i transffered all 50k (From my current account ) into the business acccount of that company.

My question is, what type of investment its comes under

Director loan ?

Cash Investment ?

It will be whatever you determined it to be at the time! Ask the accountant as to what was established. Director's loans are not eligible (unless it is unsecured and is subordinated in favour of the third-party creditors) so you better hope that is was a direct investment. Also, I hope the type of business is at level 4 or above, and the investment was made less than 12 months ago.

Paras 50 - 53 of the guidance should answer all of your questions.

Have you spoken to your accountant as Lucapooka suggested??

or did you do just by transferring the amount into the business account with the involvement of an accountant?

You are asking strangers to determine what type of investment you have already made. You should know or if you don't you should ask the accountant at the business that benefited from your investment. It will have been recorded in the business accounts as the type.

Thanks for your reply, and yes i spoke to my accountant and he said its comes under director loan, but he is confused about

Accountant’s certificate of confirmation ?

Could anybody put light on it, if anyone have a sample of that it would be great help.
