Dear Members,
My PEO appointment is scheduled for 2:00 pm tomorrow at Croydon. I am on WP visa with same employer for 5 years and my case is straightforward. I have hired a solicitor (just to be on safer side) and he said CW will complete my application on next working day and I will not get result same day.
I just want to know if this applies always with afternoon appointments or I have some chance of getting result same day.
Thanks

This is not necessarily true. I saw a couple of people who came around this time and got decision the same day. Just hope that there are no delays in brp checks etc.

Totally depends on the day how busy they are but sometimes due to time constraint decision cannot be taken on the same day

Dear All
My appointment is next week at 12:00. Will it be the same like dmaks case that i might get reply next day or most probably same day. I am applying under tier-1 route with one dependent.

Technological breakdowns are common reason for delays.

We went for PEO appointment for ILR yesterday and here are the details
2:00 pm: Appointment Time
1:30 pm: Met Representative outside UKBA office.
1:40 : Entered Building after Airport style security check.
1:45 pm: Went to a counter at ground floor. There was no one else in the queue. Our representative submitted documents for a check and got token number.
1:55 pm: Went upstairs and our represenative paid Visa Fee and she submitted our documents at a counter.
2:20 pm: We were called for biometrics. Biometrics done in 5 minutes.
3:15 pm: UKBA Customer Care Representative at counter 22 confirmed ours is a Overnight service and we will get results next day. So we left building and are waiting for results today.

Congrats dmaks...
Do you know why was it an Overnight service? Also, did you submit all the original documents and how did they communicate the approval news?
