Long Residence Visa Query

Post by Mani786 » Wed Feb 20, 2013 12:07 am

Hi
I am a dependant of my wife, and she is due to apply on 23/3/2013 after the completion of her 10 years long residence period , but my 10 years will be completed on 23/06/2013, 28 days before (25/5/2013) question is this, can i apply direct with my wife SET(O) instead of FLR(M). Please share your experience. Thanks

set(0) does not allow dependents based on long residency.so you both have to apply separately on your own merits on set(0).

Read through set o form. And the previous reply. The answer is still NO.

If necessay, perhaps initially apply for FLR(M), then vary to SET(O) when possible.
