fiancee visa

Post by Northstar66 » Wed Feb 20, 2013 12:18 am

My partner and i have just been refused a Finacee visa on the grounds that we do not meet the financial requirement.

I am a british citizen, and my partner is mexican.

I have a salary of £16400, and we now have joint savings of about£18500.

We intend to apply again in 6 months, but are still not sure if we be succesful.
Any advice would be very wecome

So your shortfall is £2,200 - which means you'll need savings of £21,500 (16000 + (2,220 *2.5)) before you can apply.

As a result - an application within 6 months with the savings you have - will fail again as a result of not meeting the requirement.
