Hi
Can any body help me , today my employer received letter from home office that my further leave is going to expire in october if they want to continue after that they can send details to them or fill form set o, i am just surprises why home office sent this 9 months before the leave expire,

Is their any thing to worry as employer links are not good with ,
me or if any experienced with this situation , please update me, as i have work permit for 5years in shortage occupation list.

Basically, there is nothing to worry about. Or maybe there is something to worry about if your employer says they don't wish to continue with your services when your current work permit expires. In order to get ILR you will need to provide a statement from your current employer stating that your services are still required, so it looks like the UKBA are pre-empting this by preparing the employer for that eventuality. The employer now has more time to make the decision.

The letter from the HO sounds strange. Are you sure it is genuine? Is it by any chance from Capita? If you have it copy it into your post omitting names and other personal details.

It will be you who has to complete and submit form SET(O), not the employer, the employer only needs to provide confirmation that they intend to continue employing you.
