SET(O), Section 11L

Post by wholesalegames » Sat Feb 23, 2013 4:15 pm

Hi everyone, there is something in the SET(O) application form that is confusing. Sorry if this has been already discussed I've tried to search and couldn't find any answer to this. In Section 11 of SET(O) application form, point 11L, regarding the documents that need to be submitted, the last paragraph states: "For the period before you were granted leave as Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules."

Can anyone let me know what does this exactly mean please? Do they like all the documents that had been submitted for receiving the Tier 1 extension to be submitted again?

Thank you.

No. This only applies to applicants who have switched immigration categories during their ILR residence period. E.g. WP to T1G, T2 to T1 etc... It doesn't apply to those were on HSMP + T1G.

Thank you cs95tdg, I've switched from HSMP. I'll probably take the previous docs with me just in case as I am applying through a PE office, I'll have the docs handy in case if they do indeed need them.

Hello,

Could someone clarify on this point.

I was on Tier-2 for 3 years and switched my category to Tier 1, 2 years back.
So should I then take all the documents that I had submitted to get my Tier-1?

This would mean that I have to provide my pay slips for that period, but as I mentioned in my previous thread, I lost most of my key documents during a house move and I have left the company I worked for.

However bank statements are easy as I can get hold of them

I will find out from them if they are able to provide me with the payslips from 3 years back, but highly doubt it if they will be able to provide me.

Hi dear cs95tdg

Can you confirm that which question does apply to an applicant who has completed 5 years continuous period comprised of 2 Yeas leave under HSMP and later on 3 Years leave under Tier 1 G from the section 11 of Set (O) Form?

Is the question 11 G or 11 L applicable to such applicant?

It would be 11L.

Not required. What you should take are your P60's covering the period you were under T2 to prove that you met the terms of your T2 sponsorship. If you do not have these, then you should request your Employment history from HMRC.
