Bus Lane PCN

Post by KTM » Sat Feb 23, 2013 5:01 pm

Hi Members

I have a PEO appointment nextweek for ILR Set O forms.
I got PCN from council for bus lane contravention nearly about two years ago. I paid fine on time and no other issues. I know it doesn't have any negative impact in my ILR application but still have some confusion whether to declear it in set o form or not?

Could you please share your experience with similar issues after 13 December 2012.

Regards,

KTM

It won't affect your application. You can declare it for your peace of mind but you don't have to

i think it's better you disclose. Why face unnecessary problems with out disclosing?

Thank you Gagan 1986.

Kevin 24,

If I decide to disclose then where to disclose it , 7.2 or 7.3 of SET O forms ?

It is a very petty offence but if you want to declare it, it needs to go in 7.2

I had a similar fine. It was 6 months before the ILR PEO appointment but I didn’t mention it and wasn’t an issue at all. It is your choice if you want to mention this but as far as I am aware a Bus lane fine which is paid on time is not a Criminal offense nor a civil penalty under UK Immigration act,
