Deception Marriage

Post by mani1 » Sun Feb 24, 2013 12:58 pm

Hello every one,and many thanks for reading this.i request you to hounour me with your replies.
i was accused of using deception in my previous application 8 months ago and as a result they asked me to leave the country for 1 year, but they didnt curtail my leave.currently i have 5 months left in psw category.
my long term girlfriend is British and i have a annual salary of £26000.
from bottom of my heart i will tell you the truth that i didnt use the deception but the bank in war torn country syria is not cooperating.any waymy question is
1.do i need to mention about deception that i accept or dont accept it when applying for spouse visa?
Note.please note that i am the sponsor and have no problem finanacially or accomodation or any thing else.
many thanks
kind regards

I'm confused. You say "Note.please note that i am the sponsor". How can you be the sponsor when your girlfriend is British?

Are you intending to apply as unmarried partners (with a 24 month paper-trail of official instruments) or will you marry beforehand?

I think that first you need to establish your current status. Is it valid? If so, you can apply for leave to remain (pending your choice of category). If it's not valid you can't apply inside the UK and will have to apply for leave to enter. If you apply for leave to enter, your UK salary will not be considered and only that of the settled UK resident will matter.

I'm at a loss to understand how you can be asked to leave the UK but without having curtailed leave. That aspect of your circumstances needs to be clarified as you have not given sufficient information. I suppose one way of clarifying it would be to make an application for leave to remain and see what kind of response is given to this by the UKBA. The only problem with that is it might take six months to get a response.
