ILR Deffered due to police caution.

Post by Isaac01 » Sun Feb 24, 2013 4:37 pm

Hi All.

Please see my posting in Immigration for family members regarding Police caution being under 24 months old and ILR

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=127129

A quick summary for those that cant be bothered to look.

I was eligible to apply for ILR in march this year, but due to a police caution in Nov 2011 and due to new changes I was ineligible to apply
I applied for and extension of my current visa FLR (M) and was successful.

I hope that those who are in a similar predicament read this and understand that taking a change is not worth the waste of money and time and of course the added stress.

Yes exactly.
After deliberation for many hours, I thought that it wasn't worth getting an refusal to my name!
I was very thankful to be in the position to be able to extend my current visa and go for ILR in December than try and risk it now.
Not worth the added stress.
