Whats Next???

Hi guys

My wife gratefully got her spouse visa and she will be coming to the UK in April. As much we are excited and over the moon, I have began planning for the next step.

So I wanted to get a sumarry about what the next step would be, after she comes here to the UK, can she immediately apply for a british passport or is there a waiting period? after she comes to the UK, can we leave the UK for holiday abroad? would she be able to stay 9 month with me in a forgien couyntry while I work there or does that effect her uk status?

Please could you advise me.

She has to complete 60 months to qualify for ILR

And then she can apply for citizenship if you are British yourself.
