Unemployed Sponsor inviting an UK Family Visitor Visa

Post by chennaibabu » Tue Feb 26, 2013 7:44 pm

Hi, I am currently Unemployed. Last employed in Dec 2012. I would like to invite my close relative using a UK Family Visitor Visa. Since I am unemployed, I cannot show my payslips. In this case, can you please suggest on how to prove my Financial sufficiency.

I have sufficient funds. Would this alone suffice?

Thanks in advance

yes, you can use your savings to support sponsorship. If the visitors themselves can provide own financial evidence in support to their application, then there is no need for the sponsor to provide any undertaking/evidence.
Also note, if you are relaying on savings, then you must ensure the savings is sufficient to cover the entire duration of the trip.

Thank you. Just a small clarification. I guess I can still provide the applicant an invitation letter stating that the applicant will stay with me, however all expenses of their travel in the UK would be borne by the applicant.

(provide the tenancy letter to support this)

Does this sound okay?
