Tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General - ILR Query

Hi,
I am in UK in Tier 2 ICT dependent visa. My Tier 2 ICT Dependent Visa was given on Dec 2011. I am now planning to apply for a Tier 2 General Visa.
I know I have to apply from home country for the Tier 2 General visa.
My question: Will I be able to apply for ILR after 6 years? Say if I get my Tier 2 General some time during August this year.

Means you to have wait for 5 years, eligible to apply for ILR in Aug 2018
