Sponsoring Family visitors

Post by coolrock » Wed Feb 27, 2013 11:38 am

Hi,

I am on a Spouse/Partner Leave to Remain visa.

I would like to sponsor my family for their UK visit.

I am employed full time and have the payslips/bank statements to support the financial needs.

I saw the below in the UKBA website
Additionally the family member you are visiting must :

be a British citizen;
be settled in the UK;
have been granted asylum in the UK; or
have Humanitarian Protection status.

-----

1. With my current visa, will i be eligible to sponsor my family?

2. My partner got his british citizenship certificate through naturalisation and his British passport is in process now. Can i include his name as a sponsorer and mention that he doesn't hold a British passport as of now. He still holds a uncancelled Indian passport and ILR visa

Many Thanks
