How to check if banker's draft has been cashed

Go to the branch which issued the draft and ask. they can login to the system and check. you may face the problem with notcompetent bank staff who will tell you the date they issued the draft (money are gone from your account immediately) is the date the draft is cashed (some bank employees clearly dont know the difference between bank drafts and checks (money leave the account only when the payee presents the check)

so morale of the story is to speak to the operator who issued the draft
