DO WE NEED TO GO HOME COUNTRY FOR TIER 4 EXTENTION??

HI
one of my cousins student visa going to expired in june 2013.
he told by some one in UNIVERSITY that after new rules going to be announce in APRIL 2013 by UKBA
all students need to go home country to renew their visa?
is that true?
or somebody have heard any news?

As per the rules concerned as of today, student can get extension from within the UK. What UKBA come up in the future s not known. Unless I have missed any such announement from UKBA, there is no such requirement.

i dont think that will ever happen, think of the amount of students that will be affected. as above, as of today, you can still extend within the UK.

If you are concerned, you can always apply in March.

Which University is this? These rules are not mentioned anywhere.
