What does Financial Year mean

What does Financial Year mean

Hi All

I started my Limited Company on 12/01/2012, filed accounts on 31/01/2013, I am on 'Indefinite Leave to Remain' Visa, now my wife is going for FLR(M) - Dependent Visa in the first week of March.

The UKBA requirement says that I should submit documents for 'in the last full financial year'.

I have to show earnings of 18,600 and am showing this earnings from March 2012 to September 2012.

Could you please let me know if I have to submit accounts dated:
a. 12/01/2012 to 31/01/2013; (or)
b. 12/01/2012 to 31/02/2013

Please respond to me ASAP as its very urgent.

According to the fact you gave above you filed accounts on 31/01/2013. That should be your full first year.
