Tier 1(G) Ext. -prblms with maintenance funds previous exp.

Hi All,

Having been in still situation of failing to satusfy the maintenace fund requirement by a short period (1 day in my case) ,I would like to document
any previous expreiences any of you had for the benefit of anyone who would be in the same situation in the future.

surely,beleive some of us would have been in similar situation before or is it just me?

Most people stick to the requirements and only apply once they satisfy the requirements, so you are one of very few. The maintenance fund requirement is also not something new and surprising to most as we've all had to go through it for the initial visa.

The funds don't have to come from a single account, you can also show another account to make up for the difference. (E.g. show a bank statement for the single missing day and then the rest).
