Immigration

Post by Toluwafunmi » Fri Mar 01, 2013 4:00 am

Hi,
I've been reading this forum and am happy people still help one another.

I hope I will find answers to my questions too:
I am a dependant of a tier 1. I came to the UKwith my spouse and have a child here. 3yrs ago
The marriage is broken down and we no longer live together, refuses to divorce or give formal separation My visa runs out in less than a year. I currently have a resident permit (LR) my child hasn't got a visa as my spouse refused to put her on the list on our application.

Can anyone advice me on my options in remaining in the UK with my child without the main applicant's help. At least buy me more time to decide what actions I can take. I want to give my child a good start in life...
Thanks for your speedy reply.

@susie.
Am sorry I wasn't quite sure where it'll fit.
I just joined this forum I haven't quite understood it all.
Could you suggest where I could put it instead.
I still need a response
Thanks

I've moved it for you. You really need to seek legal advice both from an immigration advisor and a solicitor specialising in family law. Will you continue to have contact with your child?

Thank you all for your speedy response. Thanks for moving the post.
At the moment my child lives with me but my spouse plans to prove I am unable to take care of our child and claim our child for himself and have me out of the country.
@casa...i will seek immigration and family solicitor advice . I only pray to find one who knows his onions in both area.
Wish me the very best everyone: it's a race against time am on.
Please any lead or information that can help me along please do not hesitate to post.
Thank you all.
