visa extension with British spouse

Hi everyone.....i've recently submitted my wife and my bank statement and payslip to the UKBA as they requested more document for my visa extension....i'd like to know if i will wait for another 3month before they get back to me..i have done my bio-metric finger print since November 2012 and i haven't heard from them..please advice folks
