ILR Guidance

Post by vs22 » Sun Mar 03, 2013 10:59 pm

Hi All,

I know i am really early in asking questions regarding ILR as i will be due for submission only around end of November'13.

But i want to be safe rather then sorry and hence i am posting my queries this early. I am currently on Tier 1 visa granted on 20.12.08 and I entered UK on 25.02.09.

Since i have crossed the 180 days leave (212 days to be precise as of now) I am hoping to get a letter from my current employer towards my Annual Leave for the last 2.5 years which works out to around 65 days. will that be sufficient? I will not be able to get any letter from previous employer.

Also in the beginning i was on and off jobs (tough times) and for financial year,
2009-10 (Feb-Mar)- I worked for 9 months ( July-Mar). Leaves outside UK between Oct-Nov 43 days.
2010-11 (Apr-Mar)- I worked just for 4 months (April, Jan, Feb and Mar). Will that be a problem in regards to employment history. I was also out of UK for 78 days ( Apr-May 55days and Oct-Nov 23 days)
2011-12 (Apr-Mar) - Full Year employed. Leaves Outside UK ( 44 days)
2012-13 (Apr-Mar) - Full year employed. Leaves Outside UK (28 days)
2013-14 (Apr-Nov) - Employed. (Hopefully!). Planned Leaves outside UK (19 days)

Please can you let me know any do's and dont's i need to follow this year so as to have a successful application.

Many thanks in advance,

vs
