Hi gagan,

Is it a safe payment? I mean I want the payment to go through straight away. Would you recommend postal order or banker's draft?

Payment will go through straightaway via debit card. Best thing will to phone your bank in advance and let them know that a payment will be going through for 800 odd pounds. Sometimes banks stop the large payments for fraud prevention purposes

It depends from bank to bank. Did you ask your bank what will happen then if the payment is stopped for security purposes?

Yea they will take the payment tomorrow, and they will refuse the app if payment doesn't go through and most PEO's they do not allow the acces to the phone.

Yes you can indeed, go to post office first thing in the morning an get a postal order made for public enquiry office Liverpool(UKBA) and they will get one sorted for you. Generally there is a nominal fee for this service charged by post office.

As far as I remember, you have to give cash to get the postal order made

How about a Banker's draft? I rang my bank and they said that they can do it the same day. Which one would be better providing I have to leave by 10 am?

Tnanks

What do I need to put in the banker's draft as I cannot find anything on the UKBA website. It says about postal order only.

Also, is a banker's draft guaranteed which means if done properly then I won have any problem?

Thankks

Hi Gagan,

Thank yo very much for all your help. I got the visa:) Now I am going to apply for my partner's visa.

As my sponsor ticked the maintenance, can we use this for her visa as well even though she didn't not apply with me?

Thanks

Hi Gagan,

on that link it say:

If the migrant's A-rated sponsor says they will maintain and accomodate the migrant and dependant until the end of the first month of the migrant's employment in the UK, you must send a letter from them which confirms this.

My partner will be applying in april so this is more than a month after my visa was issued. Is this okay?

1.) What does my employer have to include in the letter?
2.) Do I have to send a proof of accommodation? I am sharing a house atm hut will be renting a house or flat when she gets here.
3.) What other documents do we have to submit?

Thanks
