Tier1 PSW to Tier1 Dependant

Hi,
I am currently on tier 1 PSW visa and my spouse on Tier 1 General visa.

Can I change my Visa status from Tier 1 PSW to Tier 1 general while in UK

or

I need to apply from home country (India) for this.

You have to go back to India for the initial application. Only if you last held dependant visa can you apply for dependant visa in the UK.
