Pay Slip & Company Acquired..

Post by ilan_thendral » Thu Mar 07, 2013 12:12 am

My Previous Earning period falls into two companies

I have been working for company A (3 months) which acquired by another company B ( 9 months).

I have 9 month attested copies of payslip from company B staff which can be verified by Company B staff.

I have 3 month attested copies of payslip from company A staff which can be verified by Company B staff.

I have provided contact names in Company B as it is the parent operating company now.

Would this cause any issues in Tier 1 extension?

If you are going to apply in person, explain the situation to the caseworker. If you are going to lodge a postal application, include an explanation in a covering letter.

Normally there should not be any problem providing there are no other issues, but I suggest you contact the UKBA to confirm this beforehand if you want a proper official confirmation.

No, it shouldn't cause issues. I didn't even explain it.

If you really want, just write this fact in the company contact details. (Company X acquired Company Y on xx/yy/zzzz)
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.
