Police registration

Hello all,

I am currently on Tier 2 General.
I'm Malaysian too.

Do I have to register with the police?

As a general point, if a condition of your visa is that you need to register with the Police, then that is indeed what you must do.

But if that condition is missing, then there is no need to so register.

Hi John,

I know this seems silly to ask but how would one know the condition?
I've checked my passport and there isn't anything stated or embedded just a stamp by the officer when I arrived!

It you say +POL. But, in any case, Malaysians are exempt from police registration

Malaysians are not required to register with the police - see Part 10 and Appendix 2 of the Immigration Rules

If police registration were required it would be shown on your visa (not the entry stamp)
