i have received another query today asking me to submit a contract of work to demonstrate trading.
i applied on 18th of july,
bio on 31st of july 2012,
1st query on 9th of january,
required documents submitted on 18th of january,
PSW route,
funds abroad.
2nd query 8th of march and they gave me 9 days to submit the contract.

dont worry...just submit a new contract...they just want to know if ur business is trading or not...
and im positive they wud send u the visa soon after they receive the updates...

i did not submit contract with my application but i provided the letter only so they have asked me to provide the contract, thanks smiles i am hoping the same,
my first query was to submit third party bank letter mentioning my name , funds available and how much is for me..along with proper legal advisor letter and new declaration,
its going to be 8 months after a week so they r still asking for further documents i dont know what else they gona demand...
lets hope for the gud

You are lucky that caseworker is inquiring documents from you. Because of so many mandatory documents missing from your application. Documents like proper contract, and wrong format of bank letter. Caseworker could have refused your application for missing documents.
Anyway, give them what they ask for.... I am unable to understand from your post that what kind of help are you looking for?

Hi guys,
My query is sort of related to this topic, I applied 6th of September, biometric done 17th, haven't heard anything yet. I do not have a trading contract yet, am I in trouble if they ask for contracts.

well i want help regarding contract of work to demonstrate trading as my previous contract with company has already expired and i started working with the new company is december, but i am not sure about the proper contract format if anybody can tell me about that? and do i have to submit both contracts the expired one and new one as well? i have only submitted the letter from the company i was working with,

Are you sure you have applied for T1 Entrepreneur route? In that route, you need to show contracts for your existing registered business from your client/s. The format of contract varies between businesses, just a simple google search will show you templates which you can select accordingly to fit your business.

hello guys,
im bit confused..do u need an exisitng business to apply intially for a Tier 1 Entr. in this OP's case since he is switching from PSW why he has been asked for contract ?
may be the OP him/sher self can amswer this ?
i thought as long as u hv a business idea and money you can apply for entrprauner and set up business if u hv been givent he visa .am I wrong?
plz clear my doubts

Yes you need an existing business and at least one contract.

Attributes for Initial Entry:
You:
(i) are applying for leave to remain,
(ii) have, or were last granted, leave as a Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) Migrant,

this is only a requirement for ppl switiching form PSW right ? no for ppl switiching from other categories like Tier 2 G - didn't you notice that ?

True!
Only PSW ones can apply for £50,000 sponsor.
Non-PSW ones have to go for £200,000 (unless they are being sponsored by seeding firms)
