Home Office or UK Border Agency reference number(s)

Post by alex87 » Sat Mar 09, 2013 3:16 pm

I can't seem to locate my PSW approval letter, so can someone please tell me where else this number would be printed?
Is it the number that is also present on the Biometric invitation and starts with PB?

Why do you need that number? If it is to put it in your application it is not a must.

If it is to call the enquiry, they can trace you by

1. PB/*********** number given on the payment acknowledgement letter
2. Eight digit number given on your bio metrics letter also known as CASE ID
3. Home Office reference number is the one which starts with the first alphabet of your last name followed by seven numbers.

You need to find this, it will be on your previous approval letters. However this is not a must, as they will link it with your name, date of birth and country. If you find it, it will be in this format

Home Office reference number is the one which starts with the first alphabet of your last name followed by seven numbers
