SPOUSE VISA FORM FINANCE QUESTION

i am just going through the form when i came across part 3 in VAF4a 2 Appendix 2 finance category A question
Background
i have been working at salary amount required since june 2012 and currently salary contracted is £19656 but only started work in june 2012
the visa form question ask
3.20 What was your sponsor’s total income (before tax) from salaried employment in the 12
months prior to the application?

how do I work this out. add up my monthly earnings up to date and give them the number and attach a note in the extra space explaining that i only started in June 2012 work?
plz help as documents sent to pakistan ready but need help on filling online form
