ILR granted in Solihull 8 March 2013

Post by jetliu2000 » Mon Mar 11, 2013 10:51 am

HSMP 2 years + T1 3 years

It went very well last Friday, and got the letter from HO to say that I need waite for the BIO card.

Here is my story:
Appointment at 12:30PM, and I arrived about 12:20PM.
I passed the security and received a ticket number at 12:40PM.
1:20PM I was called to see the CW. She was really friendly.

The documents she asked for:
Application form
Life in the UK test results
Police certificate (she is happy that my certificate is up to date)
Payslips
Bank statement

The documents I offered and she took it:
5 year tax letter

The documents I offered but she did not take:
Council tax statement
Mortgage statement
Land register for my flat
Saving account statement

Questions she asked me
1. What is my current job
2. Why there is a 8 days visa gap ( this is due to a mistake I made, I made the wrong payment to HO last time, she said as long as I applied before visa expired and the gap is within 28 days, it is ok.)

About 2:30pm we finished, she sent me to BIO information, and I left about 3pm.
I went to Starbucks for coffee and waited an hour before I came back.
4:30PM I was told my ILR is granted.

I only had 40 days absence so CW did not ask for any letters or explaination.

I worried about how long I can receive my BIO card? During this time, HO would not change its mind and ask me provide more information? lol Please tell me I worried too much.

Don't worry. You should receive your BRP Cards with in 7 days. If UKBA are going to change their mind, they would not have approved your ILR.

No she did not ask for it, I offered to her, and she said it is better to have it. She had it.

Most of the time she was checking her computer.

Never heard of people been asked or taking police certificate with them as that is optional and only needed registration with police if you are exclusively instructed to do so

Can someone please clarify this

Regards

SET (O)
11A All applicants

Your police registration certificate if you have been asked to register with the police.

I was never asked by UKBA to get registration in my HSMP approval letter, nor in my T1G visa letter, nor on my passport visa stamp, not in my T1G extension letter
