UKBA asking further documents

Post by gurpreet86 » Mon Mar 11, 2013 11:05 am

Hello, my name is Gurpreet last year in Oct 2012 I got married with my gf who is British passport holder. And I applied for my visa through post on 5th dec 2012 while I was on PSW. In the application I mentioned that we both are not living together reason given that her full time job is in Northampton and I live in Birmingham though she comes in weekends to stay and the another reason was that we have not got married according to our tradition ways. I received my biometric letter on 30 Jan 2013 and given my finger prints the following day. But now on 8th March 2013 they sent a letter asking for further documents proofing that my wife is residing with me since Oct 2012. Now, am very stress what should I give it to them as I told them in application that we arnt living together. My all utility bills, council tax is included in the rent. Recently I asked a letter from landlord to give reference that my wife stays with me every weekend and my wife have recently changed her address in Bank as well. Can you please advice me what shall I do next to come out of this situation. Thanks

If you aren't living together the application is unlikely to succeed. I don't see that you can claim you don't live together due to cultural marriage conditions, but your wife can stay at weekends. :?
