Posting date or date of receipt?

Post by GD78 » Mon Mar 11, 2013 3:14 pm

I will be applying via NCS on the 5th of April 2013. As the fees are to go up from the 6th...would the UKBA consider my application fee based on the posting/submission date or the application receipt date?

the application receipt date
You would probably get a letter asking you to pay the difference (that's what they did in the past).

Thanks for replying. Looks like they handle nationality applications a bit differently than ILR apps in terms of which date they take in to account for processing.
