Business contract and visa fees

Post by santosh_mahaveer » Mon Mar 11, 2013 5:48 pm

Hello users

First time post, please excuse me if there is anything wrong. I have recently applied for a Tier 1 enterprenuer (switching from PSW) visa along with my dependant. I have 2 queries:

1. Application time line
09/02/2013 - application submitted
13/02/2013 - acknowledgement received

NO updates after that, application fees not deducted yet from my account ( paid by debit card). contacted the bank but UKBA has tried to take the money out of my account. Contacted UKBA through phone and email, got a response that they cannot give any details except the acknowledgement letter. Please suggest a course of action, as it is over a month now.

2. My second query is regarding the business contract. the company I started deals with home automation products and through online marketing I got some queries and found couple of clients and offered automation solutions. For the visa I have submitted a copy of the quotation I sent to the client and a copy of the invoice. As the kind of service is equipment installation, the client paid the money into my business account and can be seen in the bank statement submitted to UKBA. My query is will the invoice prove that I am actively trading or is it mandatory to have a contract between me and the client as advised in the tier 1 policy guidance?

I have many more projects at hand and also trying to take exclusive dealership for UK which is a substantial investment, but stuck because of the visa, If I invest the money for the dealership and then if my visa is rejected then I will be in a soup. How does UKBA expect us to be actively trading while they are sleeping on our application forms.

thanks
