First of all, thanks to this forum - uksettlement in particular and all the people sharing their experiences. The wealth of information available in the forum is really helping people to understand the rules/guides. Had initially thought of approaching an solicitor, but changed my mind after going through different posts in this forum.
Got my ILR via the HSMP + Tier 1 route. The only worry that i had regarding my case was the gap between Entry clearance and the date i entered the UK was exactly 90 days.
HSMP Entry Clearance Date : 27/03/2008
Date of Initial Entry in UK : 25/06/2008
All my fears were laid to rest today, as my ILR application (Myself & 3 Dependants) was approved and not even a single question asked.
My appointment was at 9:00 am and after the initial checks was asked to make the payment and submit all the documents to support my application. Was called for biometrics around 10:30 am and at 11:45 am was told that my application is fine and BRP cards will be sent in 7 working days.
I am director of a limited company and following is the list of documents that i submitted:
Application Form
Passports
Life in the UK scores
Previous Tier 1 + HSMP approval letter
Payslips + Dividend vouchers - 11 Months
Bank Statements (Current account + Business Account)
Accountant Letter
Unfinished Management Accounts for the current FY (01/04/2012 - 28/02/2013)
Marriage Certificate + Kids Birth Certificates
Cohabitation Documents ( about 20 docs from 6 different sources spread across 2 years in gaps of 2 months)
Will be happy to help anyone with questions.
Good luck everyone.
CK
