self employment earning - revenue or profit?

Post by spicycurry » Tue Mar 12, 2013 10:00 pm

Hello Members,

Is it true that UKBA considers gross salary before tax of full time employment, but net profit (not revenue) from self-employment?

My earning (revenue) from self-employment is a mere £6014.55 and expense of £311 with a net profit of £5624.55. This is taking my total from full time plus self-employment to £50,741.55 to be eligible to score 100 points.

Since the range I am targeting is £50000-£54999, I am a bit worried whether showing £50,741.55 will be too much on the borderline or not?

Please advise.
