hi all experts,
i am on post study work(PSW) visa and working as junior software programmer (getting 20k salary at the moment) and working for my employer from more than 11 months. My employer got a tier 2 sponsor license and i book a slot on 10th April 2013. My employer decided to pay me 26k as per old SOC 2000 for Software Programmers. Now the problem is the new SOC 2010 rules comes in existence from April 6th. I know i need to meet the new requirements. The SOC 2010 rules show a new entrant and experienced entrant for software programmer.
Software Programmer --
New Entrant - 24000
Experienced Entrant -29800
I am aged 30 years old. So i feel i cant come under new entrant if age is taken into consideration.
And also it states that 25% rate applies on the experienced role. It means that 25% applies on 29800 and it would be 37000. I have to show 37000 or 24000 or 29800..
And also after April 6th, is it necessary to conduct a resident labour market test for a psw holder.
I am very much confused as i havent got any information about these things.
hope to find the answers here
