Can I apply for my 7 years old son for naturalization?

Post by Sam Kaz » Wed Mar 13, 2013 11:47 pm

Hi,

I am on Tier 1 General my husband and my children are my dependents. I have 3 children Ages 7,5 & 1 years, they all born in UK and since than they are living here.

I heard that if child born in UK and live here at the age of 7 so he/she can apply for British passport even his/her parents are not British citizen or don't have ILR.

Question:
Can I apply for my 7 years old son for naturalization while me and my husband both are Pakistani nationals?

Thanks

I don't think so. Where have you heard this?

However, UK-born children may be subsequently entitled subject to other circumstances.
