FLR(m) visa approval letter

Post by saudbs » Thu Mar 14, 2013 3:00 am

Hi Everyone

Thanks for your help. My wife got FLR(M) approved last month.

We got married in march 2012 (in uk) while she was on student visa and myself on Tier1.

Then she switched to tier1 dependant on 21 july 2012. So we fall under 5 years route for ILR.

I got my ILR in Jan 2013 and she got FLR(M) in feb 2013.
But letter we recieved says "In order to qualify for settlement you must have completed a period of 2 years....."

Why they have not updated the letter to mention 5 years?

Thanks,

If she APPLIED the FLR M before 9 July 2012, then it is 2 years I think.

did you apply before 9th July? because what matters is the applied date.

she applied for tier1 depedant visa on 18th of july 2012, but confusion is letter says

"In order to qualify for settlement you must have completed a period of 2 years....."
