Maintenance funds requirement

Hi Guys,

Is there any requirement of funds to be maintained to apply spouse visa for wife and kid

I am British Citizen.

Yes, in certain situations where there is a shortfall in the income of the sponsor. Savings used to supplement or in lieu of salary must be held for a period of six months. If nothing of what I have said makes sense then please read the financial guidance for this category or visa.
