Struck off solicitors / agencies list

Post by settlehere » Sat Mar 16, 2013 12:55 am

Hello All,

After enough thought, I have decided to go through a solicitor, it is too much of a hassle understanding these immigration requirements.

I know even registered OISC representations have been fraudulent and I would like to avoid them.

Where can I find a list of all the agents / solicitors who have been struck off / sentenced in fraudulent cases

Got it, this is just advisors

http://oisc.homeoffice.gov.uk/how_to_fi ... _advisers/

Will approach them, get their view and then then look for a solicitor if required.

But I am still curious on all the lawyers that have been caught.

This is a start

It's generally not lawyers who get struck off (although they do) as anyone (subject to eligibility) can register with the osic you don't need a law degree. Try also searching the law society for immigration specialists.
