10 years for dependant

Post by uzbek19 » Sat Mar 16, 2013 12:56 pm

Hello dear forum users.

I hope someone had this issue before:

I came to the UK in April 2003 as a Student.

In 2004 I got married and my wife came as well as a student that year.

In 2005 I became a Dependant to my wife.
We have a baby, born in 2012.

Now My wife has a TIER1 Post study visa Until July 2013.(she is still looking for a job and she is now willing to go back to student visa again)

In April this year it will be 10 years for me and my question is:

Can I apply to ILR by myself?

If So, what will happen when My wife applies as a student visa in July? Can she somehow becomes my Dependant later if I will have a ILR visa?

Thanks you very much for your time and support.

best regards

Yes.

She may switch to FLR(M), subject to the requirements.
