Advice needed in regards with invitation letter

hello,

My mother-in-law is planning to come to UK on a family visa(VAF1b) & she needs an invitation letter. Can someone please advice would it be better if I send her an invitation letter or my wife?. Only difference between me and My wife is that she is unemployed & I do a full time job.

My father-in-law would be take care of her expenses but she(mother-in-law) will be staying with us.

May be i am thinking to much but i would like be safe rather than getting rejected for some unknown reason.

Any advice would be helpful

Just say that she will be staying with you and provide details of the accommodation..

Another quick question
While filling this form there is a questions..

4.17: Please provide full details of your dependent children?

Dependent children means non married or married children?

Dependent children would mean children who are dependent on you eg under 18 living at home or children at college who still rely on you. A child who is married is usually not be dependent on you, but if for some reason they are then include them.
