Whole Application sent back.. need help urgently!!

Post by santosh_mahaveer » Wed Mar 20, 2013 12:37 pm

Hello

Applied for tier 1 enterprenuer (psw route) on 09th feb 2013, received acknowledgement letter 13 feb 2013. no correspondance after that until today.
today UKBA sent my whole application and passport back as the payment didnt go through, UKBA mentioned that bank has refused payment. I provided debit card details and enquired with my bank too but they said they didnt refuse any payments and I had and still have the necessary funds in my account.
UKBA letter says "if you still to make an application, you must return your fully completed application form with the appropriate fee to the address given on the application form."

Now the question is whether I should make a fresh application all together or send them the form They sent back with new payment details. do I need to provide new statements for the maintenance and investment funds. Please help me I am worried. Will this period be counted as over stay??

Thanks in advance..

When is your visa expiring?

Yes, you need to make a fresh application with all the required documents.

thanks for the reply. My visa expired on the 10th feb 2013. I applied for the visa a day before my psw was expiring.

If I make a fresh application will it not mean that I have over stayed.?

i think you can apply within 28days of receiving this letter - but will hv no right of appeal if it s refused.

1) You need to print out the new application form with a fresh date, obviously you clearly now fall as a applicant applying after 30 January changes.(if it is not printed before 30 Jan then you can use same but its recommended you use a fresh one)

2) Refresh your bank statements,( If bank statements prints are now more then 3 months old.)

3) Write a covering letter and explain from first submitting the application to the return of the docs, due to payments problems (also attach the copy of the original letter you received from UKBA about the payment failure.)

4) Make a Postal order this time to avoid any problems.(mention the postal order in the covering letter too)

Best of luck!
