Next monday ILR appointment - Final checklist -Review Please

Post by WingsToFly » Thu Mar 21, 2013 2:49 pm

Hi Team,

Please could anyone of you review and let me know if the below checklist is sufficient enough for my ILR application please.

Please note I am on HSMP + TIER1(G) valid until 18-April-2013 and eligible to apply for ILR this monday(28 days before visa expiry).

I have entered UK within 90 days of my HSMP stamp date in 2008 and my out of UK absences for last 5 years are <180 days.

So I am all fine if the below checklist is all that I now need to proceed.

Documents:

1. PEO appointment confirmation email
2. SET(O) form – 1(main applicant + 2 dependants)
3. 2 photos each for main applicant + 2 dependants
4. New and old passports (myself, spouse and child) + Copies
5. Life in the UK(main applicant + spouse) + Copies
6. 12 months recent bank statements + Copies
7. 12 months payslip + Copies
8. HSMP Approval letter, Tier 1 approval letter(for primary + dependant) + Copies
9. PBS self assessment sheet
10. Calculated absences sheet for last 5 years(not mandatory for Tier1(G) but just to be on safer side)

Cohab documents:

1. 3 years council tax summary sheet(Joint) + Copy
2. Tenancy agreement (Joint) + Copy
3. Son's birth certificate(Joint) + Copy
5. Marriage Certificate (Joint) + Copy
6. Provisional driving license(Main applicant + Spouse) + Copy
7. Spouse's bank statements for 2 years
8. Poll/Voter Card(Main applicant + spouse) + Copy

Additional/Optional documents:

1. P60s for last 4 years
2. Letter from HR mentioning designation, period of service, salary
3. Educational documents(Degree + Masters)

Thanks.

Looks good.

Esp the cohab list looks exhaustive and nice. Wish I had these many bills in joint names.

Thanks for replying '19star79' and 'aandu' :)

Also do you think it's even safer to have a backup for maintenance funds(say letter from bank etc)? Though I have learnt through this forum that's it's not required for Tier1(G). Any thoughts??

Hi WingsToFly

I attended my PEO appointment in Birmingham this Monday (18 Mar 13) and I was asked maintenance fund proof, I knew it is not needed for T1G ILR but I maintained them and kept it so if you have funds available and have maintained it then better to take that with you, just in case

Why you applying for child? is child not born in UK? if child is UK born then just apply for citizenship registration directly as soon as you get ILR

Good Luck

Hi 'ali_asad_pk'

Thanks for your reply. I don't want to take any chances. Will get the maintenance letter from the bank first thing tomorrow.

My child was not born in UK so I am including in my application :)
