Post by TechUser » Thu Mar 21, 2013 9:42 pm

Hi Members...

I took premium appointment with solicitor.. I opted this premium to get the decision on the same day .However i was asked to leave and they will update later. and solicitor can collect the documents.

I m confused. why it is like this for premium appointment.

My application is very straight forward and i have good immigration history.

Any one in the forum experienced similar kind of??

Hi,

Are you switching from PSW to Tier 2 Visa and under what job category have you applied?

I have a PEO appointment on 27th March 2013 and after reading your message, I am a bit worried.

They say same day service, but decision will be given within 3 day and documents returned with the decision.

Did they ask you any questions and how long did it take to complete the whole process. My solicitor tells me that they will do all the talking.

Can let me know what documents you submitted and if you submitted any covering letter from the employer along with the COS.

My solicitor say covering letter is not necessary, but if you have one it will help.

Can you please email covering letter format at bhuvrajk@gmail.com

Bhuv

Hi Bhuvraj,

yes. i m switching from PSW.

they didn't ask any specific questions. your solicitor will take care of everything
just u need to give biometrics..thats it.

list of doucments i m not sure..as solicitor prepared everything and he brought file to home office.

i don't have any cover letter. but if u need i can type it and send it across to you. thats not a big deal.

all d best.. no need to worry .. every thing wil be fine.

cheers

premium service

Post by Mas2012 » Wed Apr 10, 2013 2:43 pm

Hi Guys
Can you please let me know how much do they (solicitors) usually charge for premium service for Tier 2 application?
I have an offer for 7th of May and I need to switch my current employer I am not sure if I can find any premium session
so, can you please advise me what is best? to go through solicitor or can I do it (premium) myself within this time frame?

Regards
Mas

Hi MAs,..
solicitors charge bit high only .. are you dropping alone or with partner?

if you are confident about your application and all required documents then you can submit personally.

also getting slot for premium bit difficult ..

Thx TechUser

I am confused, to be honest. I prefer priority postal service, but it seems that is also a pilot scheme. I was told that on top of premium charges I can be charged from around 650 to 900 pounds just for applying through solicitor, I am sure about my application, I am not sure if I can find a slot before the date I want. This is really annoying. It seems to me they r selling appointment slots to these business guys. Does anyone know any solution for my case or a reasonable priced solicitor?

regards
Mas

yes.thats correct.its bit costly. you can find whether your new employer whether they can bare these costs. few will do that

finding a slot is bit difficult only if your are trying on your own.
