I am currently operating through my own limited company and my company has 2 shares (1 share allocated to me and 1 share allocated to my wife).Till date, I have paid 50% dividend to me and 50% dividend to my wife. I am planning to apply for ILR in Nov-13 and to meet the previous earning criteria, I am planning to move my wife share onto my name so that I don't have to pay her dividend and I have enough money in hand to pay dividend to meet previous earning criteria
1. Can I transfer my wife share in my name? Will it have any impact on my ILR application?
2. The 12 month period I am considering for previous earning for ILR are Sep-12 to Aug-13. In these 12 months from Sep-12 to Feb-13, My wife and I withdrew equal dividend (50:50) from the company and from Mar-13 onwards, I am going to pay myself 100% dividend. I just want to know, will it cause any issue for the ILR application the way dividend has been paid?
Appreciate if seniors of this forum advise me on this.
