I have applied for Tier-1 visa renewal for myself , my wife and my son . My son is 17 months old. We have received a letter to go to post office for biometric information enrollment. I and my wife have successfully given our biometric information at the post office, but we are having big problem while taking picture for my son at the post office. Post office customer executive ask me to tie an apron and then hold my son in a way that neither of my body parts are seen in the picture and then close the curtain so that they can take the picture using their sliding camera on the wall. Problem we are facing is that my son starts crying when he is in that position. I know it sounds a trivial problem but we have been to post office 4 times already and each time we have tried at least 5-6 times while waiting for 10-15 minutes interval between each trial and each time my son starts crying the moment we close the curtain and hold him in that position. It might be that sliding camera or the lighting or the closed curtain feeling which makes him uncomfortable and he starts crying. The booth have a foot stand as well to stand on and we have tried to make him stand on that but it hasn't worked. I dont know what do I do now. I have tried to call the UKBA call centre and I have been told to keep trying again and again. All the email ids at UKBA website are for problems such as error in the card or lost card but I could not find any email id to contact in a problem like this. Is there any way you can advise me in this problem.
