ILR Success @Liverpool on 22-03-2013 >90 day LTD company

Post by ashpan23 » Sat Mar 23, 2013 6:14 pm

Hi ,

I have been a silent member of this forum and now it’s my time to contribute my experience.
I am living near to Edinburgh and I had an ILR appointment booked on 22nd March 11:00 AM at PEO Liverpool for myself, wife and son. My wife is pregnant and final week is going on, so in morning 5:30 am I decided not to take risk.
I went with my son and due to bad weather and train was late; I reached at Liverpool PEO 11:20.
Nobody asked about appointment at security. After going through the airport style security, at left hand side PEO token was given. They asked about appointment letter, I just showed her e-mail printout, but she was not bothered too much.
I settled down in big hall. In the mean time my token number is called (also it was showing in two big monitor). Lady saw my form, I asked her that can I apply for my wife also as she was not able to come due to medical condition, I also had GP letter. She straight forward said no. She also mentioned in the form since I am coming through limited company root so decision may be not possible today. She has given new Premium token number.

Within 2-3 min called for payment at 11:36 I paid the full fee.

Now wait time start, because there was lunch time from 12:00- 1:00. So no new number has called at that time. My number was coming in queue same like argos :D . Mine was 8th Number. At 1:00 PM staff came and around 5 numbers has been called.
Around 1:25 AM my number was called by case worker. She was young lady and very friendly. I put my folder, which had my application form, accountant letter, payslip, dividend voucher, personal bank statement, all passports and biometric card, as well as my business Account statement.
She offered chair to my 5 year old son .I said to her that Can I bring my bag, which had another sets of paper.
I came back within 30 sec but she opened the entire document, and asked why your wife didn’t come. I explained her situation, and then she returned my wife passport and biometric card. She asked what work you were you doing. I said software consultant.
I asked her that did she need any other paper. She said no.

After passport check and photo scan, she returned passport .After that she said to me either you can sit here or wait for bio-metric call. I prefer to sit in front of her.
She just looked my dividend voucher and matches figure in personal bank account and counted all payslip. After that she manually calculated the amount.
I was called for my biometric at 1:50. I came back at 2:00 and after that caseworker asked that when my wife had came in UK. I told her date and said I had GP letter, why she dint join me today. She said to me that, she was just mentioning in my application that why she didn’t came, so she will apply for ILR then another caseworker can see it.
I asked her that if ILR got approved today, then which form I can used for my wife,
She said your ILR had been approved, and she is just doing some official formalities. I feel very relax at that time.
And at 2:20 she gave letter print out for ILR approval and after that same thing that your bio metric will reach within seven day. Given thanks to her and came back .

I have following document with me

Payslip
Dividend
Personal bank account statement
Accountant Letter
