visa for my wife who is in pakistan.

Hi all

I am about to go to Pakistan and get married in a few month time. I am a British Citizen and have been for 11years.I am working full time and earn about 14k a year. I live with my parents but planing to buy my own place. I have records of contact between me and her for over two years now. We have spoken over the phone and via Skype. She also speaks English and is educated to a degree level.

My question is what do i need to get her a visa to come to the UK and what are the criteria. What do i need to provide to have a good chance of succeeding at the application. Any help and information is greatly appreciated.

No i dont have any saving but I have a family business that is on my name and that we have started recently. would that help in any way?

Your income is what matters. A family business implies you may an interest in an entity that garners revenue but your individual income is what matters rather than the business interests of your family.
