Refusal of Tier 4 extension visa due to overstay

Hi i need help , my visa for extension has been refused due to late submission and not showing £7200 in the statement. I could have showed that much but i paid already my first year course fees which was £8500 and i thought for maintanence funds we have to show only £1600 for last two months which i did but they still refused due to overstay and not showing £7200. Im tryign to sort it out through solicitor to make a new application but i haven't been given right of appeal as well.I have phoned ukba office removal department and They say you have no right to stay and send them my flight details so that they can send my passport to the airport (They have held my passport). I submitted late because my college said that they applied for extension which i thought they applied it because i didnt know how to apply for extension but after one month i have been told that they applied for CAS number only so its not my mistake completely.

You will have to apply outside the UK.

And do you get full refund if you have started your course and applied for extension but visa gets rejected after . It has happened to me but my college is only refunding half of the money as they have calculated how many weeks i have studied in college. if i can get an advice on getting full refund then that would be very helpful as my half of the tuition fees is going to be wasted otherwise .
