Tier 1 Extension

Hello, I had successful Tier 1 General application in April 2010 with my Salaried income and self employment. Now I am applying for extension this month. My salaried income is more the enough for the required points. Can I apply just with the salaried income? I do not want to complicate the application with self employment although I have paid all the taxes and everything. Thanks in advance.
