URGENT: SET O Queries

Post by ilrseekerlondon » Sun Mar 24, 2013 2:47 pm

Dear All,

I have my appointment in the coming week and am about to complete my SetO form and have some last minute queries, would be useful if someone can help:

A. Immigration Stamp: I have noticed that one of my immigration stamp from denmark has a wrong date, I know its wrong as the Uk stamp date is one day ahead and based on my ticket records i know I was in Denmark one day before the stamp was made.

Will this cause an issue, I am planning to take printout out of my e-ticket for the same purposes.

B. Form Queries:
Page 11: Q 5.3: In the question wherein we have to mention take home salary, now my salary varies per months basis based on the currency rates, should i give a lumpsum here or should i calculate average for the last 12 months, there would be a difference of around 10-15 pounds.

Page 11: Q 5.5: I am planning to fill the following in the five boxes, can someone please confirm if this is right, I know several threads have discussed this but somehow I have ended up being very confused:

Box 1: 1132
Box 2: leaving blank as my salary in employer letter and T2ICT approval letter is marked as per annum
Box 3: GBP 43342 i.e. salary as marked in my em[loyer letter
Box4: 37.5, i.e. the number of hours as mentioned in UK BA CoS document for this code
Box 5: Not sure what to put here

Page 13: Q 6.2: My number of visit are exceeding the number of rows provided here. Should I leave this table blank and submit a sheet having the entire list or should i fill this table and have only the remaining visit details in the additional sheet.

Also I am just planning to write just "Business" or "Vacation" in the reason for absence column, should i include anything else

Also I have bit higher number of leaves, should I also carry the leave details against year1-5 in a seperate sheet

Page 49: UKBA here is aksijng for proof that I was employed when I was on WP. I have been with teh current employer throughout my tenure in UK, I presume that the employer letter stating the soc etc will take care of this as that letter has my joining date. Is this right.

1. Denmark date will not create a problem, you can explain with your e-ticket.

2.page 49-Employer's letter confirms your employment during the WP period, that's fine.

other 2 questions I will reply soon. As I am at work.

Fill the Table regarding your Entry/Exit dates, any thing more have in a separate a4 sheet.

You have to give the reason for absences from UK, Vacation or Work related should be mentioned. Hope Employer has backed these absences with a letter.

Thanks Kevin, yes I have a letter from employer stating that all leaves were either vacation or business. The leave details are not mentioned in the letter though, wil that cause an issue.

instead of vacation, better to write paid annual leave.
If you have already filled in, should be of any issue.

ilrseekerlondon,
Don't worry, most important thing is your employer letter. As far as you have your employer letter you should be all right.

Good luck and All the very best. let all know how it goes.

O.k,then do an Excel sheet like in the SET O form and attach it with Employer's Letter.

Take Home pay you could give the average for 12 months for the current year.

Box 4:- 37.5*52 Hours= 1950 Hrs.
Box 5:- 37.5 Hrs.

Hope I have answered all your questions. Why did you wait till the last moment? All the Best for your PEO appointment. All should go well. Pl. Post your Experience.
